A serious three-vehicle crash on Highway 6 in Flamborough on Saturday closed the road for about 5 hours. The collision, which occurred near Clappison’s Corners, followed a day of wet snow and a flash freeze that made roads slippery. Ontario Provincial Police believe a northbound vehicle lost control and collided with southbound traffic.
One driver was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, though no other injuries were reported. The highway reopened just after 3:30 p.m., according to the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.
