Artificial intelligence models, pretrained on vast datasets, significantly outperformed a standard baseline model in identifying nonmelanoma skin cancers (NMSC) from digital images of tissue samples, according to research presented at the American Association for Cancer Research Annual Meeting (AACR 2025), held April 25–30 in Chicago.
